Mid Week Groups for Children and Young People

We have groups available for all ages with fun, crafts and games, suitable for their ages. These are run by Jo and a great team of volunteers who have all been DBS checked. If you would like more information then please contact Jo Snape at the church office using the Contact Us page.

Tuesday Toddler Group

Our Toddler group meets Tuesdays 10.00 – 11.30am, term time only. 75p per family – but your first session is FREE! We have two rooms of action and activities plus crafts, puzzles and books. Click here to find out more.

Wacky Wednesdays

A fun time for children in years R to 3 with games, crafts and activities. The evening runs from 5:00 to 6:15pm in the Spurgeon Hall. Just bring along a 50p for the entrance fee. Drink and biscuit is provided. Access is via the car park entrance. Click here for dates and News.

Wild Wild Wednesdays

A great time for children in years 4-6 with games, crafts and activities. The evening runs from 6.15 to 7.30pm during term time in the Spurgeon Hall. Just bring along a £1.00 for the entrance fee. Friday Night Takeaway

This is a weekly club which meets during term time for young people in School Year 7 – Year 9.  Each week costs £1.00 per young person.  Most club evenings include football/hockey and other active games, Wii, cooking or craft activities to choose from, as well as ‘Download’ (a short discussion or activity time to look together at a story/theme from the Bible.)  A tuck shop is available with a range of sweets for 50p.  Through the term there are also trips out and team challenge evenings.   The club runs from 6.45pm – 8.15pm meeting in the Spurgeon Hall which is accessed via the hall entrance in the car park. For young people ages 13 – 18 (School Year 9 and up). This is a joint venture being run by us and friends from Shirley Salvation Army Corps. We meet 8.00-9.45pm on a Friday night either in the Carey Hall or at the Salvation Army in Victor Street (which is just round the corner!) £1 entrance fee includes refreshments.
