On Thursday 15 May I drove Eveline, Martin, Pete, Karen, Clem & Elaine to Sandown Park Race Course. But don’t worry! We were not going for horse racing but to the Christian Resources Exhibition.
On arriving we spent time looking round a few of the exhibitions -
From book publishers to youth specialists, children’s charities to chair manufacturers. (Eveline tried out lots of chairs!)
Eveline & I then went to a seminar titled Your Church: Keeping It Shipshape -
Pete spent the rest of the morning doing
something a little more physically challenging!
He climbed the rock wall!
We all ate lunch together and sung several different versions of grace.
After a further trek round the exhibitions it was soon time to head home again.
Next year I will take my shopping trolley for all the free gifts and flyers everyone gives out!
