This prayer time has come about from a burning desire to see
our loved ones come to know the Lord.
Some of us, with un-saved husbands, looked around our church and we realised that there were husbands in the same position as us.

At the church weekend away in October 2007 Sara Burns and others of us were challenged by Clive Burnard to write the names of our loved ones on our hands and lift them up to God, just as Jewish mothers had done in the times of Isaiah. After the church weekend Sara actually wrote her sons' names on her hands in permanent pen and this made me realise that there were people who had a desire to see other family members following Jesus too.

We plan to have a time of prayer before every church meeting, from 7 - 7.30pm in the Spurgeon Lounge.

Personal Update: I have been praying for many years for a Christian friend for my husband. I have introduced him to my friends' husbands with the hope that each of them may become his Christian friend.
God had other plans! In November 2008 his best friend, who he has know for 12 years, started to go to church. The friend is now attending a local church regularly and was Confirmed in May 2009.

I thank God for His goodness and His answers to our prayers.
