Saturday 10 May saw nearly 50 people embark on a Pud Crawl.
We started in the Carey Hall with fruit crumble accompanied by either custard or ice cream.
One half of the group went to Martin & Glen’s then on to Clem & Elaine’s. Some folk tried to burn off what they had eaten ready for the next round by walking to the next venue!
We set off to Sheila’s where we devoured Berry Brioche Pudding, Raspberry & Pomegranate Sorbet, Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cake, Mini Chocolate Cake and a delicious chocolate dessert I can’t remember the name of!
We then enjoyed a sunset amble to Alison’s where we were greeted with a huge bowl of strawberries, Mississippi Mud Pie, Lemon Cream Terrine and Rhubarb & Orange Cake as well as a fantastic selection of cheese and biscuits.
We then staggered back to the hall for coffee and a chance to find out what the others had been eating!
