Who we are

We are people from a wide range of backgrounds who are on a journey together, learning what it means to live as followers of Jesus Christ in our everyday lives. We have discovered from the Bible and from personal experience that Jesus is good news and we want to share that with others.

We aim to be a church for the whole community, so we welcome all people and we endeavour to provide for your needs.

The best way to find out more about us is to pay us a visit. We like doing things together, so please have a look at the different activities we have, and come and join us. We are located in Shirley, an inner city suburb on the west side of Southampton, about 1.5 miles from the city centre.

Whoever you are, we believe Jesus’ message is for you and we’d love you to join us on our spiritual journey. You can read our pastor Shaun Sweeney’s monthly blog here.

We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Southern Counties Baptist Association, the Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together in Shirley & District.

We actively support the work of the Baptist Missionary Society, and are a Fairtrade church. Our Fair Trade products are supplied by Shop Equality in Eastleigh and Kingdom Coffee.
