Day 15 on 21 Days of Prayer

Video Transcript

Welcome to Day 15.

Today we have the opportunity to ask God…”God where are you leading me next?” To put ourselves in the position of listening to God. My guess is that there are areas of your life, in your relationships, in your careers, in school, in your family…or maybe in an area you are serving in church and you are asking “Lord what is next for me”

Have you ever had an experience that challenged everything you believed in? Or maybe it was something that took your life on an unexpected course. For Saul, who became Paul, this was his moment. He had been on a personal mission to destroy the followers of Jesus, as their beliefs challenged what he believed what was true. However, in that moment God set him on a new path. Proverbs 16:9 says, “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Paul was living out this proverb as the Lord completely changed his trajectory. I wonder what plans you and I have made that we will have to set aside in order to follow the steps and the path that the Lord has for us.

Pray for where God is leading you now

Read Acts 21:37 – 22:29

My companions saw the light, but they did not understand the voice of him who was speaking to me. – Acts 22:9 NIV

[Upward] What did this passage reveal to you about God? Praise him for being that God.

[Inward] What did this passage bring up in you? Be honest with God about your questions and shortcomings, your fears and desires.

[Outward] What does this passage call me to in relationship to others in my world? Ask God to help you take your place in the new chapter of the Book of Acts that is being written in your life today.
