Day 20 on 21 Days of Prayer

Video Transcript

Well its Day 20 of our 21 Days of Prayer. We are in Chapter 27 of Acts today. How often does God bring opportunities into our lives. Today I want to pray for God’s direction in your life and in the life of our church.

Doors open and opportunity arises. We’ve all been there when the wind blows us to something new, but often what seemed like a dream becomes a nightmare that tests us and causes us to grow. It could be a relationship that seemed so right and then turns wrong. It could be the perfect job that you realise you have no passion for. It could be treatment for an illness that worked well for others, but didn’t for you. Wherever the wind has blown you, whether into a harbour or into stormy seas, take courage today that God is holding you close. And do pray for the Ministry Team today as they seek to sense God’s directing as they lead us as a church.

Pray for God’s direction in your life

Read Acts 27:1 – 28:10

“When a gentle south wind began to blow, they saw their opportunity; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete. ‘So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.’”
Acts 27:13,25

[Upward] What did this passage reveal to you about God? Praise him for being that God.
