Day 4 on 21 Days of Prayer

Video Transcript

Welcome to Day 4 of 21 Days of Prayer.

Have you ever seen a herd of cattle on TV or in a movie, running together, forming a stampede? It’s as if they are all operating with one mind and one purpose as they move together in the same speed, going in the same direction. This is what the early church looked like as they pursued the mission together of bringing Jesus to the world. With one heart and one soul, they existed in marvellous unity.

What would it look like today if Christians operated like that? Would we have the force of a stampede, bringing Jesus to both the unreached and the lost? So pray that we might be united together in pursuing all that God has for us. Pray for Shaun and Kathie, Paul and Laura that as they lead us, they might know that the heart and mind of God for his church at Shirley. While we do that it would be good to pray for unity in our nation.

All that you do. All that you say. All that you stand for. Let’s do it with love. For perfect love, which comes from Christ, casts out all fear. And that is what gives us power to move forward, propelled with His strength, surrounded in peace, eyes on the One who gives us breath each day, filled with greater unity in our land.

May God bless us with His peace and unity in our Nation.

Pray for unity for our church, community and nation

Read Acts 4:1 – 5:42

“All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”
Acts 4:32-35 NLT
