Day 6 on 21 Days of Prayer

Video Transcript

Hello Everybody. Welcome to Day 6 of 21 Days of Prayer. Today we are praying for those persecuted around the world.

In Acts chapters 7 and 8 we read about the persecution that those in the early church endured. Those of us who live in places where we are able to worship freely often forget that we have persecuted brothers and sisters throughout the world who are being persecuted today. From Pastors imprisoned in Turkey, to the numerous Egyptian Christians who have been killed for their faith, and so many more around the globe.
Please pray for the Open Doors charity who supports persecuted Christians around the world, so they know they are not alone. 200 million Christians are persecuted around the world, from bullying to death.

Do please pray too for our twin church in Ukraine, Buzivka Baptist Church. There are great tensions in this country as Russia regards Christians in the “occupied territories’ as extremists.
