The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is an action-packed after-school club for all primary-aged children and meets in the church halls every Wednesday during term-time from 5-6.30pm. Come and join us for crafts, free time, games, team challenges, bible stories, videos, songs, dance, prizes and lots of fun! The club is a mixture between organised activities and free play, in which the children can choose from football, bouncy hoppers, stilts, hula hoops, skipping, board games, lego, cars, duplo, dolls houses or craft. Our theme for this year is God’s great rescue plan and we are learning how the whole Bible shows us that Jesus is our rescuer. We have celebration parties once a term to show the parents what we have been learning. Tuck is on sale during the club and drinks and biscuits are provided. Entrance is free! Just bring some pocket money if you want to buy tuck. Access through the Carey Hall door between Church Street and the church car park.

The Well

The Well is a weekly youth club for school years 7-11. We meet every Wednesday in the Link during term time from 7pm-8:30pm. We start with hot chocolate, tuck and games. We usually have space for table tennis and football and also have a Nintendo Switch available for use. There is an opportunity to chat and catch up with friends and generally chill out. We play games and regularly go on trips to laser tag, tenpin bowling, ice cream lounge and many others! We also have a time of exploring the Christian faith, thinking about what the Bible has to say about who God is and what he has done for us. If you fit into the age range, then we would love to see you! Come along! For more info contact us using the contact us page.

Messy Church

Messy Church can involve the whole family as children and adults come to join in a variety of activities to explore a Bible story together.  Every Messy Church includes time for being creative; choosing from a range of crafts and play opportunities for all ages which link in to the morning’s theme and Bible story.  We then have a time to bring together the things we have been making or doing as we share in the Bible story in an interactive way, followed by lunch to end the morning.  Our Messy Church takes place from 10.15am – 12.30pm on Saturdays every other month – the suggetsed donation is £1 per child and adults go free.
